He’s also a supporter of local businesses and organizations. He created the Semper Fi Golf Tournament, which has raised over two million dollars for injured Marines since 2012, started a scholarship fund benefiting students of Serra Catholic primary school, and began Commitment to Excellence, educating local students on entrepreneurship.

Dave received his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics, with an emphasis in accounting, from the University of Santa Barbara.

What motivates your desire to give back?

Giving back and volunteering has always given me a sense of purpose and honor. I believe philanthropy is an opportunity to make a meaningful, positive difference in our community and in our own lives.

Why are you supporting the medical center? 

South Orange County is a growing and dynamic area worthy of the finest quality of health care and I want to ensure our community has access to a state-of-the-art medical facility that rivals any other facility in the county.

Why did you agree to join the foundation board?

Joining the foundation allows me to serve my community directly and help shape the future growth of the medical center. I am able to uniquely support fundraising events with my restaurant and with my time and I welcome any opportunity to give back.
