What motivates your desire to give back?
It began by my volunteering at Mission Hospital to support the fine work and efforts provided by the Sisters of St Joseph in helping the poor and underserved in Southern Orange County.

Why are you supporting the medical center?
Mission is my favorite hospital and I support it because Mission provides excellent health care to the entire community.

Why did you agree to join the Foundation board?
I have volunteered at Mission Hospital for more than 15 years, including the Foundation — where I currently serve — and the Board of Trustees, where I served as chair of the finance committee.
