What motivates your desire to give back?
My continued support of Mission Hospital allows me to practice my deep faith and desire to deliver “sacred encounters” to our community.
Why are you supporting the medical center?
My first encounter with Mission Hospital was when a friend’s life was saved by the amazing trauma team, who identified and stopped a ruptured brain aneurysm. This “sacred encounter” combined with their incredible level of skill impressed me and my husband. We immediately felt the desire to get involved with Mission Hospital.
Why did you agree to join the foundation board?
My role on the board allows me to continue my personal mission of making world class cancer care available locally.
