In 1996, Vicky became involved with Valiant Women, at the time a fledgling group raising funds for woman and children services. She used her marketing experience to build the group, raise significant funds the help build the Pediatric Operating Pavilion, Pediatric Emergency Room, Chapel, nursing scholarships and more.

What motivates your desire to give back?

I am motivated to continue to give back to the hospital as I believe we need a good hospital that is there when needed for our family and friends.

Why are you supporting the medical center? 

In the almost 30 years that I have been involved, Mission Hospital has grown to meet the ever-growing south Orange County community. The hospital is also home to an amazing group of healthcare professionals, making Mission Hospital not only the place to go when needed, but you can also be assured that the employees are first rate.

Why did you agree to join the Foundation board?

Joining the Foundation board was the next step in promoting good healthcare. I am proud to always say that I am involved with Mission Hospital and to encourage others to be a part of this amazing institution that truly looks to the needs of the community.
