He’s also involved in the management of male hypogonadism, hormonal replacement in menopausal women, and prediabetic conditions including metabolic syndrome and polycystic ovarian syndrome.

He’s been the principal investigator for numerous clinical trials involving the development of new therapies for diabetes, blood pressure and thyroid cancer, and has lectured extensively to physician colleagues and patient groups on the subjects of cardiovascular risk management and preventive endocrinology.

What motivates your desire to give back?

During my time at Mission I’ve seen the development of several state-of-the-art programs through the Spirit of Giving in the community.

Why are you supporting the medical center? 

I’m entering my 20th year on the Mission Hospital Medical Staff.

Why did you agree to join the foundation board?

I’m inspired by my patients and by their gratitude when they are able to give back to Mission Hospital through their volunteerism and generosity.
