Tribute to Jim Frey
With love and thanksgiving, we honor Jim Frey, Providence Mission Hospital’s executive director of estate and planned giving, upon his retirement at the end of this year.
Jim joined Mission’s parent organization, St. Joseph Health, in 1994 as vice president of gift planning. He then transitioned from his regional role to serve at the Foundation full time. And what a blessing that has been!
Over the past 28 years, Jim has been instrumental in helping grateful patients and family members bequeath $62 million thus far to help develop Providence Mission Hospital into the landmark medical institution it is today. And thanks to Jim’s faithful efforts, more bequests will be realized in years to come.
But beyond the fundraising, Jim has been a cherished friend — a cheerful and encouraging presence in the lives of donors, doctors and colleagues. Every day Jim has embodied the values by which we seek to live and work.
The entire Mission Family wishes Jim and his wife, Barb, a joyful and well-deserved retirement!
