Providence Mission Hospital community gathers for the 2025 Gala

Supporters of Providence Mission Hospital came together on December 6, 2025, for an unforgettable evening of celebration, reflection and generosity at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort.

The annual Mission Gala, themed “A New Orleans Christmas,” welcomed donors, physicians, caregivers, community leaders and friends for a joyful evening honoring the hospital’s mission and the extraordinary impact made possible through philanthropy.

Throughout the evening, hospital and philanthropy leaders reflected on the remarkable progress underway at Mission Hospital. One of the most moving moments of the evening came during a candle lighting ceremony honoring the legacy of the Sisters of St. Joseph and Sisters of Providence, whose spirit of compassion continues to guide Providence ministries.

As hundreds of candles illuminated the ballroom, guests were reminded that the healing work of Mission Hospital is made possible through the shared light of caregivers, patients and our generous supporters.
