Congratulations to Foundation Board Member James Bredenkamp, M.D. who has been named executive medical director of the Leonard Cancer Institute. His leadership at Providence Mission Hospital spans more than 31 years, previously serving as chief of surgery, chief of otolaryngology and as medical director of the Mission Ambulatory Surgicenter.

Dr. Bredenkamp has been continuously recognized for his expertise including being named as one of the “Best Doctors” by Consumers’ Guide to Top Doctors and a “Physician of Excellence” by the Orange County Medical Association. Earlier this year, Providence Southern California also honored him at the inaugural Physician Champion Award Dinner for his valued philanthropic partnership in advancing patient care.
