2022 Awardee, Physician Champion

Currently a member of the Foundation Board of Directors, Robert Goldberg, M.D., continuously partners with the Foundation and connects grateful patients. He has been a guest speaker at Foundation gatherings and has sponsored events, inviting and engaging potential donors to join him. Recently Dr. Goldberg was instrumental in partnering with the Foundation and a grateful patient, which resulted in a major gift to purchase Providence Mission Hospital’s first Monarch Advanced Robotic Bronchoscopy device to diagnose and treat lung cancer.

Dr. Goldberg and his wife, Elise, are Guardian Donor Recognition members representing their commitment to the community. In addition, they are supporters of women’s services at Providence Mission Hospital. As Valiant Women members, they serve on the Gala event committee, and they are longtime supporters of the Golf Classic Tournament.

Dr. Goldberg has been a part of Providence Mission Hospital and a partner of Mission Heritage Medical Group for over 10 years.

The Foundation recently honored him at the 2022 Gala event with the Sister Martha Ann Fitzpatrick Vision Award for his heroic service amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
